A process to reverse your thinking and your beliefs about “negative” situations or people.
- What do I want from this situation/person that I am not getting?
- What is the secret emotional payoff I get by not getting what I want? (what negative belief about myself or the world is being “proven” to me by this situation)
- Release all thoughts about this situation right now and focus on any form of love that is easy for you to access. (pet, child, friend, nature, etc) that quickly arouses a physical change such as a smile, tingling, warmth, etc.
- Relax in this state of love as you ask and be willing to receive a different perspective of the situation/person.
- Go about your regular activities but be alert for an answer, sign or new insight.
